UPDATE
Many countries in the world are starting to pass to a new post pandemic stage. Without a doubt 2020 will be a year we will always remember. I really hope that if you are reading this, that you are back in business working and putting food on your table. We will be facing a hard economic recession for years to come and many things will change forever. But our nature, our endurance, our tenacity in adverse conditions will remain the same. Actually, I do believe that now, we are only stronger.
In Argentina we are still in lockdown, we are about to achieve 100 days, the longest quarantine in the world. We all somehow embrace our new reality, I have not seen my local friends in a long time. What to say about my family and life friends in Ecuador. I don’t know when I will be able to see them and I keep crossing my fingers to celebrate Christmas with al of them. Who knows…
100 days is a long time, and I have been busy. First with the release of my Ep “The Lockdown Sessions” which was a great project I used to cope with anxiety at the beginning of the quarantine. It was free expression through music at it’s finest to me. Quite an experience.
Later I started a new Business: www.auraldesk.com which is a professional remote audio agency offering music production, post production, jingles, voice overs, film scoring among other services and products.
Also I’m back in school, studying another specialization online at Berklee College of Music, this time, in Music Business.
Also, I composed another song for my side project Mahatma Candy and I ve been training hard at mixing and mastering. Happy to inform that both new songs from Mahatma Candy have been post produced entirely by yours truly.
So, while on lockdown, I haven not waste not even one minute of my time. It’s not the way I cope with this situation, its just the way I’m.

I also managed even with the lockdown to place an order and a trade in and got two exquisite guitars much needed to complement my sound. I really missed my electro acoustics so, I’m back in the game, which is awesome because due to the nature of the instruments and the techniques involved in playing them, now I have the opportunity to resume my guitar training in this area as well.
Table for Two
This song was written at the end of 2019. Recorded in Buenos Aires, mixed and mastered in England and ready to drop. But then covid-19 happened and I paused the release in favor of The Lockdown Sessions EP.
Now it has been delivered to all outlets and will be released on July 24.
The song is about the moments in complicity with our significant other. The glances exchanged, the smiles, a good conversation, a warm up. Many things could happen after sharing our tables with a glass of wine and good food.
I had already compose the music, and I was looking for inspiration to write the lyrics and finishing touches required. I was sitting at a restaurant looking at people. The way they interacted, specially in a table for two, where couples are surrounded by an aura where somehow, seems that the world stopped for a few minutes when complicity is there. In the other side of the spectrum, it is always sad to see other couples in silence, each one having a moment with their smart phones.
After that, lyrics just flowed naturally and the finishing touch was rapping the second verse lol.
I’m a big fan of rap music, it was there when I was growing, starting with Mc Hammer, Vanilla Ice, later Naughty By Nature, Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, NWA, Snoop, Dre, Biggie, Tupac you name it.
This was my first time actually performing a rap verse in record, it was a lot of fun! and I’m pretty happy with the results.
You know how it goes, we musicians must keep pushing with releases searching for our break through. It is mandatory to have fun in the process.
